A Major Community Advocacy Organization

Problem: A Native American Advocacy Organization needed to report the overall net worth of its constituents to be eligible for various state and federal grants.

Solution: T.A.Wilson & Associates designed and administered a comprehensive survey that collected all the required data.

Results: T.A.Wilson & Associates’ survey and the final report on its results allowed the organization to achieve its goal and successfully apply for the grants.

 A Major Health Care Provider

Problem: A large hospital needed a cost-effective way to handle individual and organizational file and document directory structures. This process had to be intuitive, easy-to-use and standardized so that it could be replicated throughout the hospital.

Solution: T.A.Wilson & Associates met with each department to determine its requirements, consulted with other health care providers to gain knowledge of best practices, and researched online publications on how hospitals were handling file and document structure issues.  The findings were presented, along with recommendations for a suitable process.

Results: The recommendations were adopted and are being implemented by the hospital’s IT organization.

Minority Enterprise Business Center

Problem: A large minority enterprise business center in central Massachusetts wanted to develop educational programs on diversity awareness and building a business case for diversity with local Chambers of Commerce.  Each workshop could only be two hours in length and had to provide value for the busy executives who would attend.

Solution: T.A.Wilson & Associates developed and presented a series of breakfast workshops that provided the maximum amount of information in the time allotted.

Results: The workshops were extremely effective and well-received, as they got to the heart of why diversity is a business asset.  T.A. Wilson & Associates was asked by several of the companies represented to provide assistance with their diversity issues.

Architectural Firm

Problem: Principal of the firm wanted to provide leadership training to key members of his staff and have them “step up” to take on more responsibility in the firm.

Solution: T.A. Wilson & Associates developed a program of short training session along with group coaching and individual coaching.

Results: The training was extremely effective and well received, as it got to core issues for each of the participants on what they needed to do to move forward in the company.

Design Build & General Construction Firm:

Problem: Management was looking for a way to convey the new direction the firm was taking and wanted their employees to understand that their work was critical to the process.

Solution: T.A.Wilson & Associates facilitate a two day strategic planning session with the executive management team helping develop and refine a strategic plan where they could complete their goals in a nine month time frame.

Results:  The organization moved implemented the plan developed at the offsite which resulted in an overall sales and revenue increase.
